Best Bass fishing area

Beltzville ain't bad for bass. There is also greenlane but there are problems there with the quarantine on the boats. Galena has some big bass but then again electric motors only. If you like to wade for bass in the creeks with ultralight gear you cant beat the perkiomen its loaded with bass. Hope this helps.

Bradford Lake?

it' not very big, and I know you can't use a boat, (got caught with a canoe a few years back, not good) alot of carp, but as you can see from the picture snaker posted it holds some nice bass. if you are going north up 611 from the turnpike, turn left on to countyline road, (end of naval base) less then a mile up on right is bradford, (top of hill, past second light) can't see the water when you first turn in but it's there.

I've seen walleyes right under Black Rock Dam in Phoenixville. I had one on the line under the trestle below the dam. I lost him at the net, so I can't count it as a 'catch'. I heard the state stocked them, but don't know exactly when or where.  The PA Fish and Boat Commission website may have specifics of the stockings. I e-mail them about all kinds of stuff, and they're pretty good about replying with the right info.
Good Luck!

 Leaser Lake?

Location: village of Jackson, Lynn Twp

Rt. 309 or the Turnpike North to Rt. 78.
Rt. 78 West to the Lenhartsville exit.
Rt. 143 North for about 5 miles.
Look for the small sign and turn right to Leaser Lake just
before the mountain. Pretty location - mountains all around
the lake (at least what they call mountains in Pa.
    About an hour drive.

Hello all, Great site!  I thought I'd help out with Leaser Lake since I go there quite often.  First, the directions are perfect except for better fishing don't turn right at the first Leaser Lake sign.  Wait about a block till you see Pleasure Ct. and make a right after a church/funeral parlor.  This will take you to the second main parking area.  Fishing here is incredible anywhere you set up.  There is such a nice variety of fish in the lake it will keep you busy for hours.  I have the most luck with tossing out green power bait on a very small treble hook for the trout.  It is not uncommon to catch 10+ nice trout in a few hours.  I usually bring inexperienced fisherman so throwing out a fathead on your line will get you a bass, perch, bluegill, trout, crappie, or even a pickerel every 5 minutes.  I never caught anything that really ripped into my drag...yet!  It really is a great place to bring a group of friends or children!  Good Luck!

We just got back from Leaser Lake. My daughter had to be back to go to work so we only fished for a couple of hours. Caught 9 fish. Some nice bass. A couple of dinks. Beautiful day. Wish we could have stayed longer. Caught nothing in the deep water. Everything we caught was close to shore.

Woodlyn Crossing ?

Ya want a spot with fish...OK.  A development called Woodlyn Crossing off of 213 in Langhorne.  When you turn into the development...look to your left and you'll see two small ponds...one draining into the other...and about a football fields lengh each.  The one without the sprinkler...the bottom one...is FILLED with crappie, sunnys, and Big Bass!  The ponds drain into the Neshaminy creek.  Warning #1  I've had no luck...these fish are very well fed and lazy.
Warning #2  Watch out for the Red Tipped Black Bird...It attacks!
