Leave your car and purchase an all day pass to ride RIPTA (RI Public Transit Authority 401-781-9400). From Memorial Day through Columbus Day, park at the Newport Visitors Center for just $2 and ride the Yellow Line trolley to the historic properties of the Preservation Society. You'll also receive valuable Park and Ride rewards at attractions throughout Newport by showing your RIPTA pass.
Mansion tours with transportation are also available through Viking Tours of Newport (401-847-6921), Gray Line RI (800-934-8687) and Gray Line Boston (800-343-1328).

The Breakers opens at 9 am, all others open at 10 am. Last tour admission at The Breakers is at 6 pm, and house and grounds close at 7 pm. Last tour admission at all other houses is at 5 pm, except Hunter House and Isaac Bell House, where last tour admission is at 4:30 pm. Houses and grounds close at 6 p.m.
Chepstow tours by reservation only at 11 am, 1 pm and 3 pm. Reservations may be made at any other Preservation Society property.
Hunter House and Isaac Bell House guided tours offered hourly on the half hour, from 10:30 am to 4:30 pm
Guided tours of the Brayton House at Green Animals offered daily at 11 am, 1 pm, 3 pm and 5 pm.
The Chinese Tea House at Marble House and The Elms Carriage House Caf¡¡им¦ open daily for lunch.
Newport Flower Show, June 24-26. Rosecliff will be closed on Thursday, June 23 in preparation for the Newport Flower Show. From June 24-26, Rosecliff accessible with Newport Flower Show ticket only--regular mansion tickets may be upgraded to include the Newport Flower Show, but there will be no guided tours of Rosecliff.
